Most local outreach takes place within the context of Upper Coquetdale Churches Together (see UCCT page).
However, both Rothbury and Thropton United Reformed Churches support TraidCraft and the United Reformed Church's own Commitment for Life.
Rothbury and Thropton United Reformed Churches are part of the
URC Northern Synod.
Rothbury and Thropton United Reformed Churches are joined with other local United Reformed Churches in a Mid-Northumberland Mission partnership covering an area from Amble in the south-east to Glanton in the north-west. The churches in the Partnership are Branton and Glanton URC, Felton URC, Long Framlington URC, Rothbury URC, St Mark in Amble, St James in Alnwick, Thropton URC and
Warkworth URC.
